Printed in midnight blue on creamy Okawara paper, Dream Feed is my love letter to those magical, half-awake moments of motherhood.
It shows a mother on a floating bed, cradling her baby during a nighttime feed. I kept the design deliberately ambiguous, so that she could be bottle feeding or breastfeeding, as I wanted this print to be a celebration of the connection of feeding your baby and whatever that looks like to you.
When it’s just you and your little one, it can feel like you’re in your own little universe – adrift on quiet waters, under a starry sky. I added balloons from his mobile and a tiger at the foot of the bed, standing guard, because even in the stillness and tenderness, there’s strength and protection. I love the dreamscape vibe of this print. It’s my way of holding on to those fleeting, intimate moments of love and connection and celebrating my last baby and journey into new realms of motherhood.
